Claire is an award-winning producer and executive producer.

Before founding Red Room Films, she was an executive producer for BBC Indie Drama, for Kindle Entertainment/Lionsgate US, and for Company Pictures, where she worked on shows as varied as Shameless, Moonfleet, Wild at Heart, New Tricks, Waterloo Road, and several award-winning series of Inspector George Gently – including Martin Shaw’s devastating finale as the lead character.

Red Room Films was created out of Claire’s desire to tell stories from the heart of the UK that are ‘fearless, smart, female’ - with at least two of these elements high in the mix of every show, either through subject matter or talent. Diversity and neurodiversity are also often part of the company’s unique mix – and Claire is passionate about finding unique points of view and original voices.
